Due to works planned to be undertaken by Openreach, it will be necessary to close part of various roads in Iwade, Newington & Lower Halstow from 21:00 hours on 10th March 2025, with estimated completion by 06:00 hours on 11th March 2025.

School Lane, Iwade Road and Basser Hill will be closed at the junctions where they meet, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for School Lane and Iwade Road is via Iwade Road, Stickfast Lane, Sheppey Way, Ferry Road, School Lane and vice versa.

The alternative route for Basser Hill is via Raspberry Hill Lane, Old Ferry Road, Sheppey Way and The Street.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.

The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while cabling works are undertaken by Openreach.
