On Sunday 30th March 2025 approximately £3,000 of damage was caused to Sittingbourne and Milton Regis Golf Club, Wormdale Hill, Newington owing to three off road bikes churning the ground up. It is thought they are being dropped off in a white van and then riding along a bridleway between Chestnut Street and the golf course. All riders were wearing dark clothing with no crash helmets but but balaclavas covering their head. Two of the bikes were black and one was red and white in colour.
