We are thrilled that the 3rd Para Brigade & Home Front Re-enactment.Group will be joining us at this year's Summer Fete on Saturday 12 July. They will be dressed in period clothes and will have three tables of memorabilia - one military and two domestic (Home Front). They will be be happy to answer your questions and tell you about living during those times.

The 3rd Para Brigade re-enactment group was formed in 2019 by a small group who have an interest in WW2. They are based in Chatham, Kent and their home is now at Fort Luton.

The Home Front during World War II was characterised by significant civilian involvement and was a significant part of the war effort for all participants. It had a major impact on the outcome of the war.
